So if I understand correctly, you want a responsive layout that will either show two or three columns but you are having an issue with some overspill 👎

My initial thought would be that the calculations being done are returning non-absolute values so that could be why taking a pixel off here and there is working.

Are you able to reproduce the issue in a shareable demo that I could take a look at? I can certainly have a look in Firefox but I didn’t see anything that jumped out at me when testing.
