Yep! Although you could still do it, you likely wouldn’t. It’s been a while since I revisited this article. I will likely remove that and make a mention of post compilation transforms.There are many possibilities with transforms.

As for media queries, I’m not sure I see many use cases for em with rem now fully supported across the major browsers.

There is of course no right or wrong though.
